First Hospital Stay

Tips on what to expect and suggestions for getting the most out of your stay!

So many of us at the Family Advisory Board have experienced multiple inpatient and outpatient experiences at Omaha Children's Hospital throughout the years. We want to share some of our gained knowledge with you as you prepare for your first hospital stay with your child. Your CF healthcare team will be intricately involved throughout your hospital stay, so please do not hesitate to reach out to one of them with any questions or concerns that arise.


Even though each hospital stay is unique, we hope the information in this guide will help you and your child feel less anxious about your arrival and stay.
